  • Moderate Islam?

    29116a3ba7db667401d7e1203e4ba99834672526

I've seen it across the web and I've ran across it right here on Xanga. It's nothing new but to find a Muslim that was willing to give his views in regards to Islamic Law is rather rare. This certain Muslim preaches unity and friendship to all who visits his site. He's fond of saying we all worship the same God, but at the same time he denies the foundational truths of Christianity.

This person uses various pictures like the above to portray himself as a kinder, gentler Muslim, but underneath this facade the ugly truth hides. He goes under various names which I can verify. He poses as a Christian under the name PASTORMASTOR in order to have someone ask the right questions and be amazed at his supposed knowledge of the Christian faith.

We're not posting this to humiliate or embarrass Mohammed AKA ThePraisedOne but to inform those who visit his site of his hidden agenda behind his humble ways.

After our conversation I informed him that I would be posting it on my site. He didn't protest or object in anyway, but added that the Koran forbids killing.

During a resent conversation I posted the following regarding his post about American being a godless nation:
Most of what you said is true. The part where you said,"Most people will boldly proclaim that God loves America, that we are the most Christian nation on earth, and that we have sent more "missionaries" to other countries than any other nation in history! " isn't true at all. At least it isn't in my circle.

Christians send out missionaries to preach the gospel. Islam beheads, tortures and kills all who dare to oppose Islam. The message of Islam to those who convert to Christianity is simple, do it and face the punishment.

What the American government does has nothing to do with Christianity. The Bible clearly outlines when and for what reason we can declare war on another nation , neither Iraq or Afghanistan qualify under the Biblical guidelines.

America is a pagan nation without question but your country is as well. Radical Islam is the cause of most of the violence around the world and in my humble opinion it needs to be wiped from the face of the earth. Hate is the message that Islam preaches as it spread like a virus around the world. This is the complete truth of Islamic law and to deny it is to lie.

The questions I have for you Mohammed do you agree with radical Islam or do you oppose it? Would you behead little school girls for being Christian? Would you stone to death people for violating Islamic law? Do you support surgical removal and hands and feet for stealing? Would you have your daughter taken from her house into the street and slowly stoned to death for dating the wrong boy, while people stood around filming it with their cell phones? Would you rape your relatives then set them on fire for dishonoring their family?

Islamic law calls for these punishments. Just take a look at the violence against women around the world wherever Islamic law rules and you will see the true Islam in action.

    Here's his reply:

3:57 But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers.

42:22 You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned, and it will [certainly] befall them. And those who have believed and done righteous deeds will be in lush regions of the gardens [in Paradise] having whatever they will in the presence of their Lord. That is what is the great bounty.

45:19 They will be of no use to thee in the sight of Allah. it is only Wrongdoers (that stand as) protectors, one to another: but Allah is the Protector of the Righteous.

Wanting more of a direct answer I pushed a little harder:

Then your answer is yes. Are you such a coward that you can't just say yes?

     He replied with the following:

It has been proven that you have not mastered the Bible yet...what more on the Holy Qur'an it self. Have you not read or studied what happens to the apostate in your Bible??

    Deuteronomy 13:6-11 (New International Version)
6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods" (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. 9 You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone him to death, because he tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.

Now what would you do if God ask you to punish the apostate according to His Law?? Would you follow His law or go against His law?? Do you prefer to be one of the Righteous or one of the Wrongdoers?? Make your stand!! I'm waiting for your answer, if you are a true Christian yourself by following what is stated in the Bible, that you yourself have not mastered well your own Word of God

  • They crucified him not?

    2rnvlew

And because of [the Jews'] saying, 'We killed Messiah 'Isa, son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah,' - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Isa was put over another man, and those who differ therein are full of doubts Surah 4:147

Where did this idea come from. It certainly wasn't taught by main-line Christianity. it's more than evident that the doctrine contained within the Koran came from the Gnostic sects listed below.

    The  Basilideans

According to the account given by Irenaeus, Christ is said to have appeared only as aphantasm phantasm, but to men he seemed to be a man and to have performed miracles. It was not, however, Christ who suffered, but rather Simon of Cyrene Simon of  who was constrained to carry the cross for him, and mistakenly crucified in Christ's stead. Simon having received Jesus' form, Jesus assumed Simon's and thus stood by and laughed at them. Simon was crucified and Jesus returned to His Father. Through the Gnosis (Knowledge) of Christ the souls of men are saved, but their bodies perish. (To undergo martyrdom in order to confess the Crucified is useless, for it is to die for Simon of Cyrene, not for Christ.) This is the story presented in the Second Treatise of the Great Seth, although it is unclear whether Simon or another actually died on the cross.

    The Gospel of Barnabas

...the wonderful God acted wonderfully, insomuch that Judas was so changed in speech and in face to be like Jesus that we believed him to be Jesus...The soldiers took Judas and bound him, not without derision. For he truthfully denied that he was Jesus... So they led him to Mount Calvary... and there they crucified him naked...

There are many more examples within the Gnostic gospels but these I believe are sufficient to refute that the Koran is the word of God.

  • A child is born

    jc72sta

It was never my intention when I started this site to dedicate it solely to the problems that are within the Koran. But after much thought and prayer I've decided that to give it a go and see what becomes of it.
Some will however see it as an attack but there is little I can do about that. What I will provide is a clear and concise overview of what the Koran teaches and how it conflicts with the very words contained within.

I welcome any and all to comments but let's try to keep this friendly as possible. Rather were discussing the Koran or the Bible some will undoubtedly view it as a personal attack upon their beliefs.

My first topic will be on Jesus, his birth, his death and the resurrection. Muslims teach that Jesus didn't die but is this really true.

In the Koran Jesus speaks as an infant:
[19:29] She pointed to him. They said, "How can we talk with an infant in the crib?"

[19:30] (The infant spoke and) said, "I am a servant of GOD. He has given me the scripture, and has appointed me a prophet.

[19:31] "He made me blessed wherever I go, and enjoined me to observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and the obligatory charity (Zakat) for as long as I live.

[19:32] "I am to honor my mother; He did not make me a disobedient rebel.

[19:33] And peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I get resurrected."

    Then we have the following:

4:157 "But they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them."

    Any comments?

  • Part 4 ( Debate between friends)

We had a few problem because of the virus so the next part will have to be done by two parts. Mohammed left the subject and statrted to debate about the Koran being the word of God. We got back to the topic at hand.

I wrote the following then he responded.

The claim that the promised Holy Spirit is Muhammad contradicts one of the major teachings of your religion. The Muslim identification of Muhammad with the Holy Spirit in John's Gospel implies the Divinity of Jesus Christ.

    My response :

The Encyclopedia Britannica calls him "the most successful of all religious personalities of the world." Bernard Shaw said, "if Muhammad (pbuh) were alive today, he would succeed in solving all those problems which threaten to destroy human civilization in our times." Thomas Carlysle was amazed as to how one man, single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades. Napoleon and Gandhi never tried of dreaming of a society along the lines established by this man in Arabia fourteen centuries ago.

In spite of the phenomenal success which crowned his efforts, he did not for a moment claim to be God or God's incarnation or Son —but only a human being who was chosen and ordained by the Creator to be a teacher of truth to mankind and a complete model and pattern for their actions.

He was a man with a noble and exalted mission —and his unique mission was to unite humanity in the worship of the One and only God and to teach them the way to honest and upright living in accordance with the laws and commands of God. He always described himself as a Messenger and servant of God, as indeed every single action and movement of his proclaimed him to be.

Today, after the lapse of some 1400 years, the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), have survived without the slightest loss, alteration or interpolation. Today they offer the same undying hope for treating mankind's many ills which they did when Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was alive. This is our honest claim and this is the inescapable conclusion forced upon us by a critical and unbiased study of history.

My friend, the least YOU should do as a thinking, sensitive, concerned human being is to stop for one brief moment and ask yourself: Could it be that these statements, extraordinary and revolutionary as they sound, are really true?? Supposing they really are true, and you did not know this man Muhammad (pbuh) or hear about his teachings?? Or did not know him well and intimately enough to be able to benefit from his guidance and example?? Is it not time you responded to this tremendous challenge and made some effort to know him?? It will not cost you anything but it may well prove to be the beginning of a completely new era in your life.

Come, let us make a new discovery, the life of this wonderful man Muhammad (pbuh), the like of whom never walked on this earth, and whose example and teachings can change YOUR life and OUR world for the better. May God shower His choicest blessings upon him!

    My answer:

Appeal to Popularity also know as Ad Populum won't work here Mohammed. I'll give you an example.

Most people approve of X or have favorable emotions towards X therefore X is true. It is clearly fallacious to accept the approval of the majority as evidence for a claim.

I have studied the Qur'an  so I have no fear whatsoever of not discovering the truth. I invite you however to carefully examine the evidence then join me on my journey.

This is just a side note. But he's right. The man he's describing never walked upon this earth
